Saturday Photo Hunt - Free

To participate in the Hunt please go here.

OK - so it's way past Saturday. The 'free' link is a bit tenuous too. But following are a few pictures from the Ottershaw Players' very recent and ongoing production of Pleasure Island, during which we gave away FREE pirate hats!

This effort also shows the reason why my blogging has been non-existent recently. All of my waking hours have been spent selling tickets, making/organising costumes, organising fish & chips and stuff. But it was all worthwhile. This weekend's shows have been an outstanding success, considered by those who know to be 'one of the best' in the entertaining and very rude world of 'The Farrago', an annual event put on by the Players. Which just goes to show how filthy some of the people of Surrey are!

Two more shows next weekend then a bit of a rest until Lord Arthur Savile's Crime in the early summer.

If this has whetted your appetite, there are loads more photos on my Flickr link on the sidebar.

Enjoy! (I did):

(Does anyone recognise this chap??)

Also, although I've seen this show countless times over the past few weeks, it still makes me laugh out loud!!!!!

I enjoyed your sequence of photographs. I think it's great that you are so involved with your community theatre.

Damn that looks good.... just how bad do I feel for not turning up for Pete's very generous invitation to the DR.

I have yet to see Pete perform on stage, I've seen his directorship and its impressive. Ok, when the leg had been greased and oiled I'll make it a must do for the next one.

Keep up the blogging I'll be watching from my bed!

You haven't seen Pete perform??? Well, you've missed one of his finest performances to date, now. If I didn't know better I'd have thought he really was Rabbi Long Dong!

We'll save you a seat for next year.

Looks like a fun time was had by all Chris, even without the free hats.

I just began going to our local playhouse this past year and it was just so much fun, the actors were so talented. I can't believe I waited a whole life to have so much fun!

Thank you for buying the book! That is so neat. I hope you enjoy it, Chris! I had a few chuckles when reading it.
