Fashionista

My philosophy, like colour television, is all there in black and white - Monty Python

Was going out on the town yesterday evening, the annual fish and chip supper with the Weybridge Fuchsia & Perlagonium Society (I live on the edge, I do).

I dressed in a very fetching black and white outfit and thought I looked rather becoming. My husband said I looked like a panda.
Boo hoo

Black and white is so striking; I am sure you looked great. My husband only ever says 'when did you buy that.'

Aw... thanks, jo.

I hate having my photo taken, Welshcakes, hence my urgent desire to have a Beryl Cook image instead.

My husband gave up using the words 'when' and 'buy' in the same sentence some time ago, Mary. He now believes that all my clothes are 'these old things? I've had them ages'.

I have to ask...What do the Weybridge Fuchsia & Perlagonium Society do?

Chris,

For God's sake don'e ever become Fixture Secretary.

The last one is still in hiding, and has been threatened eight times with letterbombs containing 'Round up'!

All because she didn't dock their tails as she was told to!

Hang on that's dogs isn't it...

Clare - well, they meet once a month, have a speaker (usually about fuchsias or perlagoniums, but also other subjects which can be interesting), have a cuppa and a raffle and that's it. Summer's highlight is the fish and chip supper, winter's the Christmas dinner (usually at a good local restaurant). The average age (body & mind) is 73 - something I'm too fast approaching! Sometimes I'm overcome with the excitement of it all.

Scroblene - was that the dog's or the member's tails which had to be docked?

I think I smell a great setting for a murder mystery series . . . Instead of Rosemary and Thyme, Perlagonium and Panda!

Men! Like mine saying I look good from the back.

I bet you wowed them down at the Fuchsia Society! Yes, you do live on the edge!
