The Moore family seem to be very lucky in avoiding weather conditions! Apart from a couple of local road being (very) temporarily closed last week due to flash flooding, we haven't been affected, although we are near the Thames and have a few small rivers locally that often burst their banks.
My sister-in-law and her family live in Gloucestershire and are situated just high enough to miss the very serious flooding there. But they may have a problem with their fresh water supply as the waterworks is under water!
